Larsen has competed in 2018 in his country’s Team Waoo, a structure also in the continental category to which he came after spending a year in ColoQuick. Mathias is the son of Nicolaj Bo Larsen, former professional rider between 1996 and 2002, double national champion and winner of a stage of the 1996 Giro d’Italia with a finish in Biella. “It’s always good to have a former rider at home, because he gives you a lot of advice on how to compete or how to train, but there’s also the reading that the former rider is also your father. At the moment, as a youth, he has already left a note of his quality in the 2017 edition of the Paris-Roubaix which is part of the calendar of the Nations Cup youth.
